Steamboys Crew Member (FOH/Server)

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time (MORNINGS 10am-4pm)

Experience: Preferred 1 year in hospitality or Front of House role.

Description: Crew Members are the face of the restaurant responsible for providing great and friendly guest experiences. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. You will prepare our food according to operational and quality standards and serve them with enthusiasm in a clean, fast-paced environment. You will work as part of a team to meet our guests' needs and give them a reason to come back.


Responsibilities Include:

- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order

- Attend to customers upon entrance

- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages

- Take and serve orders

- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products

- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude

- Serving customers in a timely manner

- Assisting in the training of new Crew Members

- Working within a team setting to meet sales goals during a shift

- Following the company's security and safety procedures

- Arriving for the start of their shift on time and staying until all duties are complete the restaurant's quality and customer service standards

- Moving efficiently, listening to colleagues and customers, being aware of restaurant surroundings

- Learning TOAST POS system and understanding how we operate, not being afraid to make suggestions and question current methods

- Reviewing daily sales reports

- Providing updates during weekly check in with Restaurant Manager on needs and changes

- Keeping all areas of the restaurant and your own belongings (clothing) clean and tidy

Pay: $14.00-$22.00/hour Inclusive of Tips

Lead, Manager, Regional Manager

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time

Experience: Preferred 2 years working in a restaurant managerial capacity.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining the quality of food in the restaurant 

  • Managing direct reports (minimum threshold amount depending on position)

  • Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training employeess

  • Restaurant inventory management with cost synergy

  • Adhering to mandated rules and regulations for food prep 

  • Moving efficiently, listening to colleagues and customers, being aware of restaurant surroundings

  • Being attentive to preparation practices and requirements of the restaurant's culinary needs

  • Learning and understanding how we operate, not being afraid to make suggestions and question current methods

  • Keeping all areas of the restaurant and your own belongings (clothing) clean and tidy


To be successful in these roles, you will ideally have strong communication skills and experience in hospitality both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee and maintain the cleanliness of your and your colleagues areas and check-in with customers. Back of the house management experience is also preferred, as you will oversee some food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.

Catering Team Member

LOCATION SPECIFIC: FRANKLIN, GERMANTOWN

Job Type: Part Time (MORNINGS 8:30am-3pm)

Experience: Preferred 1 year in hospitality or Front of House role.

Description: Our Catering Team Member is the introduction to corporate client guest experiences. You need to have a strong understanding of our food menu. Bring a professional and open minded attitude to working on our team. Training will be provided on best practices for communication with clients as well as plating and serving our food in a presentable manner. 


Responsibilities Include:

-Communicating pre-event day with our restaurant Manager and Team Leads

- Arriving early for prep and coordination

- Packing/unpacking the catering equipment and food items

- Setting up catering equipment and food items for distribution

- Following instructions at client sites

-Take and serve orders

- Answer questions or make recommendations for clients

- Prepare orders for customers based on restaurant instructions

- Following the company's security and safety procedures

- Moving efficiently, listening to colleagues and customers, being aware of restaurant surroundings
